FAQ’s
-
Absolutely! The Good News of Jesus Christ is for all people. In our meetings, we welcome everyone, whatever their beliefs or questions. We will do all we can to help you discover the best news in the world.
-
When you arrive you’ll be welcomed at the door, those welcoming can direct you towards where you need to go. No one is put on the spot or told to do or say anything they feel uncomfortable with. During the service, we sing, listen to the Bible read out loud and explained. Someone at the front will lead us in prayer but you will never have to say or sing anything that you don’t yourself believe in. A service typically lasts about an hour. On Sunday mornings we also typically have communion at the end of the service. There is no obligation to partake, but it will be explained as we go along.
-
No. Regular members do give money to the church, but newcomers and those who are not Christians are encouraged not to give anything. Refreshments served before or after services are also free.
-
There is no dress code - wear whatever you'd like.
-
Yes! We love having children with us. Every service is for all ages, young and old alike.
We understand that they don’t always find it easy to sit still or stay quiet! The first part of each service is very child friendly with a kids' song. Thereafter, DBS-checked church volunteers run a full Sunday school for children aged 4 – 11 on most Sundays. For under 4 there is a creche that is also supervised.
We also have a quiet room if needed- ask those on the doors and they’ll be happy to show you the way.
