Cameos at Calvary (Luke 23:26-43)

Andrew Roycroft, 09/04/2017
Part of the Specials series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The gospel of Luke records three astonishing statements that Jesus made on his way to the cross, and while suffering at Calvary. In these words we have encapsulated something of the heart of Christ, and the heart of the gospel. This message considers these statements in terms of what they were intended to mean when Jesus spoke them, and what they say to us today in our own lives about salvation, and the true meaning of Easter.
